My first roll of washi tape was a shoulder-shrugging-whattheheck purchase. It looked cool and I could see it being useful in place of glue in some areas. Some ha.. did I say some? I love it!! It’s fun and funky and adds a pop of color in the odd place! Unfortunately, the one roll (while full of multiple patterns) is the only one I have. I can not see buying full rolls of this stuff because of money and space constraints. So I went on a mission to find out how to make my own in small amounts.
Washi tape can be used in so many projects that it’s hard to decide where to put it! It’s great for art journaling, scrapbooking, paper crafts, and so much more! This tutorial by Tonia shows you a brilliantly cheap way to create your own in as little or a lot of lengths as you need! It also utilizes materials you either have on hand or can get cheap! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
