About a year or so ago, I came across Zentangles. It is a form of doodling and I adore it. It takes a lot of concentration (for me) and therefore, is very calming. Who needs a therapist if you can doodle, right? RIGHT!! So needless to say, I tangle here and there for my own amusement (sanity).

Typically, zentangles can be viewed from any angle and have no definitive shape. Enter Zenspirations!! Joanne Fink takes zentangles and doodle patterns and creates magic. I don’t mean the word magic.. I mean sparkles and surreal and twinkles and jaw dropping glory! She is amazing! Her work pushed me back towards doodling and I fell head long into the middle of both forms of art. I’ve previously posted my ATC template that has blanks. But these templates have the alphabet (including numbers 0-9 and punctuation !, ?, &, @) in outlines on the cards. Doodling is fine and tangling is better… Tangdoodles (that word tickles me haha) is even better.. But I’m not very good at sizing my lettering the same on each card so I made up a few template packs for different fonts.
Here’s 3 of them:

Traditional Arabic

The sample image above shows a sampe of the style of font. The actual pdf has each letter on one ATC card in outline like below. It also prints in a light gray that allows my black pen to hide any trace of the template as I go.
