Release # 2

I’m so glad it’s finally Christmas time! I think I’ve been in the ‘christmas spirit’ for about the last month… I would have been completely happy to bypass Thanksgiving and Halloween and jump right into tinsel and glitter and happy scents and oh the music!! I don’t feel this way every year lol but this year it’s hitting me in the gut and hard!!

In case you missed it earlier, the Christmas Digital Scrapbooking Paper Pack (1) was released at 8:00am and that’s the papers used in these samples.

So I started playing with Christmas shapes and this is what I have for you… 2 Tree and 4 Ornament shapes! These are designed to be used as shapers (or masks or cutouts or whatever you’d like to call them. See the samples and then you’ll find the download files at the bottom. As always, even the sample images may be downloaded and used.

Be sure and click on the image and then look through the gallery at each of these samples. You will see that any oddity you see on this page in the edges is just the way the website constrains the image down to size. They have nice clean edges.

Once you have a mask applied to your paper of choice, you’re ready to add shadows and use these shapes in any way you like. Remember, all of my freebies are available for commercial use. You MAY use them to make other sets, items for sale, or for personal use, or scrap for hire, or you name it.

Oh did I mention that I love the doodle and cut out look? I’m also going to be sharing the doodle borders of the shapes!! You’ll have to do your own layering and sizing. I scaled the border by 20 px to get the above border and then erased the hook from the paper layer.

Each of the images below is at 300 ppi. The trees are over 1500px wide on both and the ornaments over 500px. This should allow you plenty of space to size them down to the size you need without losing shape.

To download the png files, simply right click on the image you’d like and save image as… All images have a transparent background.
