Sketchbook : Painting Circles Tutorial Variation

The above doodle came about after I found a circles painting tutorial on pinterest :



After reading the tutorial, I thought to myself… what a wonderful world… but let’s use watercolor! I love so many of these beautiful pages that use acrylics. I don’t know if it’s just me and my lack of abilities with the paints but the paint ruins my pens.. Maybe it’s me, maybe I’m doing something really wrong. I don’t know but I’ve switched primarily to watercolors unless I’m working with a canvas. The watercolor allows me the freedom to create fun backgrounds and then doodle with my regular pens!
